Been slackin off the blog again for a second, here's a bunch of pics from when my mate Dave and i
cruised around the Shire of Hepburn one arvo, just checkin stuff out.
boredom will do that.
We started at the memorial cross, which is on top of a section in the Macedon Ranges, wanted to get a feel / view of the surrounding countryside. it was the chilliest, windy winters day up there.
after taking the above, i immediately thought of this.
play at your embarrassment / leisure:
flared out view of Sanatorium Lake, its a manmade lake in the mountains that used to feed a tuberculosis clinic way back in the day.
dece spot.
And where does this stairwell lead to? Another stairwell?

i think that red guy below is called a Fly Amanita or something,
Def one of the coolest looking mushrooms goin’ round.

After we checked out another manmade lake in Daylesford, which is one of Victoria's freshwater swimming holes we went and ate Don Dons and drank cheap Asahi.
