lightning bolt !

went to see lightning bolt at the thornbury theatre on friday, possibly the most insane show i have ever witnessed.
from lastfm: “Lightning Bolt is well known for their live performances, in which they turn up the volume as loud as it can possibly go and forgo a traditional stage, preferring to perform amidst the audience”

it’s true, the volume eclipsed
anything ive ever heard before, no wonder brian chippendale plays in industrial strength headphones. as for the mask…well, that holds his microphone in place and also looks kinda shredding
