Been slackin off the blog again for a second, here's a bunch of pics from when my mate Dave and i
cruised around the Shire of Hepburn one arvo, just checkin stuff out.

We started at the memorial cross, which is on top of a section in the Macedon Ranges, wanted to get a feel / view of the surrounding countryside. it was the chilliest, windy winters day up there.
after taking the above, i immediately thought of this.

flared out view of Sanatorium Lake, its a manmade lake in the mountains that used to feed a tuberculosis clinic way back in the day.
And where does this stairwell lead to? Another stairwell?
yep, pretty much.
i think that red guy below is called a Fly Amanita or something,
Def one of the coolest looking mushrooms goin’ round.
